Harrison Gordon Obtains
2.5 MILLION DOLLAR SETTLEMENT
Harrison Gordon recently obtained an outstanding 2.5
million dollar settlement for a client who was injured when her
vehicle was struck by a truck. This client sought out Harrison
Gordon because of his excellent reputation for representing persons
with brain injuries.
The client was previously represented by an attorney
who did not understand the problems she was going through with her
brain injury. She was employed as a nurse at the time of the
accident and was able to continue her work by working from home for
some time after the crash. Because of the injuries she
sustained which included a herniated disc, traumatic brain injury,
anxiety, depression other injuries, after a period of time of
working, she was unable to work and was having difficulty caring for
her young child. Defense counsel contended that there was no proof
of a brain injury and asserted that her anxiety and depression were
from other causes and not the crash. This case was settled after
extensive in-court negotiations where Mr. Gordon was instrumental in
explaining the mechanics of the brain injury to the judge. Mr.
Gordon overcame the defendant’s objections by explaining the
objective aspects of the plaintiff’s brain injury which resulted in
a 2.5 million dollar settlement. This settlement was achieved with
the assistance of out of state counsel To close this window, Click
