Our client was delivering bundles of newspapers.
While delivering the bundles of papers, our client suffered a heart
attack. Our client's employer and their attorneys denied that his heart
attack was work related and refused to offer anything for his workers
compensation claim. Steven Schepps took our client's case to trial which
included a grueling cross examination of the employer's medical/cardiac
expert that took place for 5 days. After the completion of testimony and
trial, the Judge found that our client's heart attack was work related and
found that he suffered permanent cardiac and psychiatric disability. The
Judge ordered the employer to pay our client a gross award of $148,680 as
well as to pay our client's past and future medical bills that are related
